Just a one-afternoon-art...

that's my second...no, third try at digital with color.
I don't plan to post the first two seeing as it's a big FAIL on so many different levels.

Sometimes I think screencaps are so much prettier than photoshoots....cos they're so spontaneous. and they show character. I just wish I could capture it well when I draw.

I mean, take Kai for example. He has a nice smile! But does he EVER smile in his photos? And which direction does he look...always!? :XD:

Lol, but this isn't Kai, is it? =3

No, It's Ruki. But :iconafulafu: told me it looks like URUHA. Hence the title.

And this is my wallpaper. 'cos I'm bored with my old one. TT__TT

Yep, pretty like what i have said at msn :3
Like the hands and the mic. Make sure that you rest your back after this, constant pain at the back is bad for you >_>, especially in the future.
*prepares herself to be attacked by rea-fangirls*

I should have just stick to the aesthetic view of things *smacks self with a pregnant piyo* Like I said on msn, your digital has improved tenfold! Which means, more color art from you from now on!!! YEY! Life is good~

But, I realized one thing you've achieved in your digital art that out weighs my love for your trad art - the hair. It looks really really good! It made me feel like running my hands through it just to see how soft it really is <3
eew, what fangirls? you're my only fangirls *looks at piyo* =3

aha! that's what I've been craving for! not sashimi, not onigiri! Not okonomiyaki or bubble tea!
Hair! soft fluffy jrock hair! lolz~
I'm gonna rest, piyo, don't worry. You get some rest too~ ;)

Thank you, dear!
Yeah, I totally agree! Screencaps and candid shots can show so much more character. 'Cause the guys are busy being themselves and doing their thing instead of posing and making bedroom eyes.

Anyway, getting to the point. This is beautifully done. Ruki can be so soulful when he sings, and I've tried and failed to capture it when drawing (so I've never completed a drawing of him singing). I'm on my brother's laptop right now and the screen's colour depth is crap, but even looking at this on a crap screen, it looks lovely. I'm going to favourite it and whore over it later on my computer. x3
but you already HAD sashimi! and you ate it in front of me! not literally but yeah >_<

hmm, i don't think i've ever seen a jrocker with fluffy hair... they're always so gelled up lol. is there even any?? O.O now i'm curious.
Bedroom eyes? hahah! Oh my god, you're right! they still look pretty though...with the looks they give...O_o but yeah, they do a lot of things with their mouths when they're on stage, so I'm in it for that...=3

I think the only difference between drawing screencaps and photos are the details...I can never see the tiny shirt decor or crinkling of skin --so it makes it really look like a photoshop work rather than realistic...the only details I notice on screen are the beads of sweat on their foreheads...

lol, I hope this'll still look as good under normal light/screen compared to your brother's laptop screen...XD I just realized he's missing a shadow of a nail on his pinky finger. Thanks for your fav, dear!
I know and I thought I'd be satiated afterwards...looks like I wasn't. Maybe I should go and buy an onigiri just to make sure it's not *that* that Im craving for...

You know what, neither have I. soft jrock hair....maybe washed off-camera photos. =3
I love how soft his hair looks. :3 You did such a great job.

I totally agree with the screencaps thing. They are their natural self in screencaps, and no acting like they do in photoshoots. (Not that the photoshoots aren't a treat or anything. ;P)
